Well it's about time!!

Today Ryan and I went in for my nine week appointment to see the baby's heart beat and make sure there was only ONE heart beat. It took us having to take the drug clomid to finally get pregnant and there was a small risk that it could result in multiples. I went back and forth with wanting twins or not but the last few days I was having major anxiety and just wanted one baby. I think it would be so cute to have a little extra Emma running around, but it would take extreme patience, and anyone who knows me well knows that "patience" is not my strong point. This picture above is of us waiting (for 2.5 hours) to get in to see the Dr.

Emma is so excited to have a baby. She thinks she has a baby in her tummy too. I let her play along, it's only fair since her world is about to get rocked.

Finally today we had a wave of relief come over us as we saw that there is just one baby in my belly. We will find out what kind of baby it is in January, but for now we're just happy that there is a little heart beat and our family is continuing to grow. I'm due June 26th and I feel fantastic considering what most women go through. I have a nap almost every day and my eating habits are the best they've ever been. I'm so thankful to finally be pregnant, and I'm so thankful it's just the one baby :)

Congrats!! How exciting! I couldn't imagine having twins, especially after seeing friends who have them. It sounds like you and I are a lot alike when it comes to "patience". Thank goodness there was only one in there. ;) So glad everything is going well.

That's so great for you guys! What a good due date, you don't have to worry about RSV and you don't need to go the whole summer prego. I hope that you're feeling good. By the way my sister-in-law didn't find out that she was having twins till her 20th week because one was hiding behind the other at the first ultrasound, so good luck with that one :) Let us know what you're having!

Congrats! I'm soooo HAPPY for you! I think it would be so hard to have twins, even though it would be kind of fun. I'm glad your feeling well and everything is going good. Did it take you awhile to get prego with Emma? Just wondering? I'm not trying to be nosy. Well, congrats again!

Crystal you're funny. It's not too personal to ask. With Emma we got pregnant our first month trying, and we both have really fertile families. It was really concerning to me that it took so long with our second, but luckily it's all worked out :)

Congrats Linny! Stacey told me the good news! A big releif knowing that there's only one! I'm glad you're feeling good! I always felt great when I was prego, and sometimes felt guilty because I never got sick in Five pregnancies!
