I'm a big girl now!

What has happened to my little Emma? Where has her baby face gone? I blinked and now she is a big girl. Running with the big kids, playing by herself, and she's the one who seems to be always concerned about my well being! I remember my oldest sister Jamie telling me just how fast it goes by, and it's not that I ever doubted her, but I just get it now, and my little Emma is only 2. I think I will be the mom sobbing on the corner when she starts Kindergarten.

I'll be standing in the corner with you and we can cry together. Brooklyn used the phrases "let me get this straight..." and "dresses don't have feelings" to me the other day. I thought I was going to die laughing and then I though "wow she is really getting old." Enjoy it while it lasts right??

I can't believe how big Emma is! She is adorable. Yes, Cannon Beach is fantastic, and we have also been going there since I was little. I LOVE Pizze A Fetta we for sure ate there, because it is the best! We also loaded up on the candy and taffy at Bruce's. That is so funny that we both love Cannon Beach! Yes, we are going to Lava, that will be super fun, but we are only coming up on Saturday, and Kyle would love to give you hugs!!

So I was just thinking the same thing about Lauren! She looks and acts more and more like a little girl every day and I already miss her babyness. I guess it does go by fast!

You will cry and then in first grade you will think that you will have it all together just to start bawling your eyes out as she says "Don't worry mama I'll be home right at 4 so don't miss me to much -k-" Keagan still has to give me comforting words as he headed out the door for fourth grade! Madi is starting kindergarten this year and I will have the house all to myself. Crying the whole year through unless I can volunteer EVERY DAY!

She is getting so big! I love the picture of her sitting on the floor in front of her lil' kitchen. Kids do grow up way to fast...I'm wondering where my babies went!

I didn't cry when my oldest went to kindy, but when the youngest went I fell apart. Having the "last" of any milestone is terribly hard. Brace yourself.

i have to say (no offense to the middle children) that most of my crying over milestones have been with the oldest and the youngest. (middle kids have enough complexes as it is- this is just another blow) ya- start packing your kleenex now! it's sad times ahead as they venture off! ENJOY EVERY DAY!!!!!
