Emma had her very first play date with her friend Addi courtesy of Carrie. What makes this an official play date is that I didn't ask Carrie to babysit, and I didn't need Emma to be gone, but it's the fact that she went over to Addi's house simply just to "play." I am hoping this will be a great new chapter in our lives. Thanks again Carrie!! Or should I say "mom" since that's what she called you the whole time :)

it is a whole new world when your kids go to someones house to play instead of being babysat. kylee still remembers well her first friend mandy who she only played with until she was three then they moved. well maybe she just remembers her from our stories and pictures, but still. . .
When can Emma have a playdate with Milly?
I remember when I only had Griffin I thought play dates were a pain. It seemed like double the trouble and the mess. Now one more, two or three....doesn't seem to make a difference to me since I'm cleaning, laundry, cooking or picking up anyway are. Except for when any of my babies are sleeping and play date friends wake them up. I am not a fan of that.
