Wednesday Traditions

For most of the Fall we have made a really fun family night every Wednesday. We take Emma to gymnastics and then afterwards we go down to 25th street and take her to their park there, which is my favorite play structure, and Ryan and I order 2 for 1 tacos at the little taco stands and we have dinner there. Then we play tag and hide and seek with Emma and usually have the park all to ourselves. I think this will be the activity I miss the most when the rain and snow comes.

You are such a sweet family and so devoted to your little Emma. I'm so proud of you for being such a good mother and father. Cherish this time! It's so hard to do that kind of stuff once you have 5! Heck, it's hard once you have 2 sometimes. Emma is a very lucky little girl. If you ever want to have Milly come play on a Wednesday next year, feel free! I wish you would move here so they could do stuff together. Remember when Rachie took gymnastics, at age 4? She called it bajastics.

It seems you just have loads of time to spoil your little girl, so jelous! I have maybe a good 20-60 minutes a day to read and play with Makenzie, the rest of the day is taken up with babies, timeouts, cleaning, making dinner, and teaching ballet.
Enjoy the time you have!!!!! You are the best mommy :)

Sounds like you had a lot of fun!! You guys are always doing fun stuff, it makes the rest of us look boring!! heheh Don't worry you'll be pregnant before you know it and then wishing you wern't unless you have good pregnancies. I do love the older Sydney gets as well cause you can have a different kind of fun with them and they can communicate so much better!!

I've been waiting for this post to see Emma in action. She looks pretty serious on the bar with pretty good form. Do you stay and watch every week? Does she get restless before the class is over?

I don't stay each week. I used to but I think it is more distracting to her. SThe class is only 50 minutes so she doesn't get very restless. I had to tell the teachers to push her because she will let you do the work for her unless she's pushed. She gives up easy.

Is she taking gymnastics lessons or do you just take her there to play around for fun?

That sounds like so much fun. We meet J once a month for lunch and the girls love seeing where Daddy works. I'm glad you're enjoying the outdoors while you can, and hopefully you'll get to come down and enjoy them here soon.
